25 euros for two divisions (If doubles are played, there will be no extra fee), including a shirt, a free meal on sunday noon, trophies for 1st and 2nd in every division and some foods and drinks during the tournament. Accomodation and hotelWe suggest to book a room through our hotel partner. The CAMPANILE HOTEL is 1km far from the club and the RER and is offering a very good rate for the tournament: CAMPANILE NANTERRE - La Défense Just say "RACQUETBALL" when booking your reservation!
RulesAll divisions will be played according to official European Racquetball Federation rules, including the mandatory use of protective lensed eyewear. Regular games will be two games of 15 points and tie-breaker of 11 points. Round robin games, if any, will be one game of 21 points. Consolation in one game of 21 points will be offered to the first round losers. Players losing a game are required to referee Doubles games will be played if the schedule allow it. Skill levelAll skill level of play are welcome to participate in the French Open. Tournament directors reserve the right to re-classify or disqualify players when/if they are improperly placed. Starting timePlayers must be prepared to play as early as 9 a.m. saturday, june 13th. Requests for special starting times must be indicated to the tournament director. Every effort will be made to accommodate special requests, however no guarantees can be made. HospitalityFruits, cookies and water will be available on saturday morning and sunday morning for all players and for free. Hot meals and drinks can also be purchased at the bar of the club. For soccer fans, the world soccer cup will be played on the big screen television of the club throughout the weed-end. Cold buffetOn sunday noon, a free buffet will be offered to the players at the club!
